About Tony

tony-crawford-amelia-islandI graduated the Swedish Institute of New York City in 1996. I have been trained in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, shiatsu, and Hawaiian Lomi massage. I am a member of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association.

My wife and I moved to Fernandina Beach in 1998. We have three children and seven grandchildren. I have been active in high school baseball and have a passion for sports.

Massage has always been healing to me. It can relax and rejuvenate. It’s not just a pampering experience, but a healing experience.

I do Swedish, deep tissue, and my specialty is Lomi massage. I have had the good fortune to study with Tom Cochran. Tom is a world renowned Lomi practitioner and teacher.

I first experienced Lomi well into my massage career. I never realized the effect it would have on my work, as well as my life. For me, it was truly a game changer. It brought back to me what I always felt massage should be, not just someone rubbing oil on a body, but rather someone setting up a space where you could relax and truly enjoy the experience.

Massage, whether Swedish, Deep tissue or Hawaiian Lomi, is a powerful form of bodywork. It is meant to heal both body and spirit. It is a necessity for the practitioner to create a safe space for the healing to happen.

I am passionate about helping people feel better in their bodies. My goal is to establish that safe environment which allows you to relax, enjoy and have the very best experience possible.

I have practiced and taught massage throughout the United States, in France and Puerto Rico.
I sit on the Personal Care Advisory Committee for Florida State College at Jacksonville, Florida and teach in the FSCJ massage program.

I am licensed in Florida, #MA0027867.
